ABOUT THE WEBSITE

I originally created "Pochemuchka" on Neocities in the summer of 2022 while working at a run-down motel as a housekeeper and receptionist. I was looking for something new to learn and do, tired and burnt out from only having art as a creative outlet. Lacking mental stimulation, I decided to pick up website coding as a way to kill time and challenge myself. Three years later and the site itself has vastly changed. While not as branchy as I wanted at 22, it's a more honest reflection of my own aspirations and interests. While I do hope to offer more references and resources on socialism in the future, I do like where the website has come. Here's to more growth in 2025!

About the Sitemaster

Basics

Chandler + 25 + they/them + White + Bisexual + TME + Marxist-Leninist + Atheist

When not spending eight hours on my feet caring for dogs and cats or analyzing their behavior and how to curb unwanted habits, I tend to be a homebody focused on several creative hobbies. Aside from website coding, I enjoy reading, gaming, writing, drawing, collaging, painting, crocheting, and jewelry-making. A lot of my writing revolves around socio-political issues or analyzing books I've read, specifically A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. Mainly socio-political issues, though. I try to listen to at least two different albums each day, using boilthefrog and music-map to explore artists in genres I frequent. There really isn't much more to say, but if there's any questions, feel free to reach out!
