ABOUT THE WEBSITE

"Pochemuchka" was created during a period of healing for the sitemaster. I had spent the last year of my life torturing myself over the death of a friend, two terrible relationships and the loss of two different friend groups within six months of each other. 2022 was spent alone, working in a dead end job with no end in sight and only alcohol and weed for comfort. It wasn't until about May of 2022 I started weaning myself off of them, starting to find joy in my old hobbies of sketching. However, my hobbies lacked a mental aspect. I felt like I couldn't think in any of them. I wanted something new, and began looking. Lo and behold, I found Neocities.

The website has morphed a lot since I made it, getting a style update a couple months back. It's been an effort of love, of thought, of caring for me. Each and everything on here is a testament to a new step in life, one I hope continues to keep getting better.

Aside from the basics, there's really not much more to say about me. I tend to hang around other socialists, avoid conflict unless I see a chance to help someone see the errors of their ways or discuss finer points of a topic to come to an understanding. I've been told I have a flat effect when I talk, and that my explanations are easier to grasp than most. I like to consider myself someone easy to get along with, but I don't tolerate bigotry of any form and will call it out. I don't mind "putting others in their place" but it's less from a position of authority and more just finding certain behaviors rather unbecoming. I don't hesitate to speak my mind, but I try to tone down more passionate explanations to avoid any misunderstandings, leading to overexplaining myself. I enjoy beer, poppies, the spring sun and running at dusk.

When it comes to educating others, I take a hands off approach, allowing others to develope questions naturally and try to answer as best I can, and if I can't, someone I know through various social media platforms can. I have a "required reading" page for fledgeling socialists to get a start and who happen to stumble upon my site. Feel free to shoot me an email if you do have questions.
