I was introduced to Silent Hill at 9 years old by my best friend. I used to be terrified of everything to the point I couldn't go into a Halloween store without being scared. However, rather than be scared of this movie, I was fascinated. I remember asking her if we could watch the special features first, something I loved to do since I was really little. Watching how the movie was made, especially the makeup and how the actors felt on set helped me get over my general fear of everything. When we actually watched it, while my friend was joking around about the monsters, I was enthralled with the special and practical effects.

Without the movie and later games I watched, I grew fascinated with the world building and horror as a genre. Thanks to Kelli and Silent Hill, I discovered a passion for horror movies and storytelling.
