December

Dec. 1st | Chores were done, and the three books I ordered are on their way! Dec. 2nd | Drank a Dunkin's mint coffee, it feels more caffeinated than an energy drink. I'm still going, no drop yet, but I think it'll taper off rather than have me crash. Dec. 3rd | Smooth day, I'm scheduled to hike tomorrow for work and scared it'll be canceled because of the weather. Hopefully not though! Dec. 4th | The hike wasn't canceled! It was a little cold at first but the trail and walking a calm dog made it feel better. My favorite dog was over the top, and the guy handling him didn't understand anchoring (despite saying so lol), so unfortunately because of his energy, he was corrected by the dog I was walking. Overall, not too bad, but it is shocking to people to see how dogs naturally correct one another. Dec. 5th | One of the best perks of my profession is seeing dogs show their true personalities. A dog in the suite I work has been shut down, but after seeing her littermate for a short play date, opened up and has begun to ask for affection. She's young, still jumps, but I'll take bad manners over a bad attitude! Dec. 6th | Very happy to have finally ended my week. My Russian, Python and Javascript textbooks came in this week, and I intend to start on the Russian one right away. Dec.7th | All chores done, and I've started another blanket with the yarn I have. I'm planning on it to be a radial Piet Mondrian-inspired blanket.
Dec. 8th | Cleaned my mini PC this morning so I can play the Sims with relative ease. Another easy day. I may mess around with my site if I get bored. Dec. 9th | My shift this week has me on the medical side, but my suite is empty save one dog and 5 pups inside. Should be smooth! Dec. 10th | Been going over why we don't euthanize for one bite but three, and while I think one bite should be the limit (the dog has now shown us it will bite and sees it as a tool to get their way), it has to be three to gauge the situations the dog is in. Dec. 11th | Morning meeting tomorrow... I do think it's related to euthansia and dogs, specifically over the whys and hows for working with dogs that are being assessed. Still scary, I'm hoping none of us are in trouble for... not wanting to work with the main dog this is about.
